The aftermath is horrible

Here is a list of foods that are so good while you're eating them, but the minute you stop you have the sickest taste in your mouth (and worst breath I'm sure)
  • Hummus. If I don't directly brush my teeth after eating it I just keep eating different stuff to get rid of that taste but the power of hummus is too strong.
    • The time I'll allow before I break down and brush my teeth is 10 minutes.
  • kettle chips- honey dijon flavor. They are so good in your mouth, but as soon as you swallow you either have to put another chip in or put a lot of gum in your mouth.
    • The time I'll allow before I break down and brush my teeth (with mouth wash) is 5 minutes.
  • kimchi- I don't even eat this stuff (and it's not a food that is so good while you're eating it). I don't allow people to eat it around me because it smells so bad.
    • The time I allow before I break down and make the person I'm with brush their teeth (with mouth wash) is 2 minutes.
ps. to all those young gentle out there don't even think about kissing me if you eaten any of the above (or not brushed) within a 14 hour span (and you probably shouldn't kiss any girl for that matter within a 14 hours span after eating these foods). Thank you.

common words/phrases I find myself saying outloud when I'm alone

1. "meow" or "reow" (an example of use: said when I stub my toe or try to lift something heavy)

2. "bird!" or "it's a bird!" (said when I see or hear a bird)

3. "oh blarg" (when it's just not going my way)

On occasion these phrase come out when I'm with other people, or when I'm just walking on the street, after the words are out I realize "oh that probably seemed weird." it's an nbd.

I love the stars' new cd. check it out.

Sweet bro

Yesterday I was caught completely off guard. There i was at institute talking to my friend Mike (who is very nice and polite) and some new guy was standing right next to him. I should have saw it- over tanned, bronzed body, Duke shirt with matching Duke baller shorts, over gelled blond hair it all adds up to sweet bro; but I haven't come in connect with a sweet bro in Seattle ever (one good thing about Seattle no sweet bros). Anywho, he was quickly outed through our conversation.

Mike: "oh maybe Megan knows"

Me: "knows what?"

Sweet bro: "I'm gunna take Cathy on a date" (said in a very full of himself, sexist way, as he flexes)

Me: "Who?" (here's where I began to realize this dude is a sweet bro)

Mike: "that girl that was sitting behind you."

Me: "oh Catherine, Yeah she has a boyfriend. "

Sweet bro: "That doesn't matter." (yup... totally sweet bro)

Mike "oh who is she dating?" (Mike says with honest interest)

Me: "Hans, Hans Johnson. You know- tall, really good looking-"

Sweet bro: "I'll take care of that" (he says as he punches his first into his hand) (my thoughts at this point: really? I mean really?)

Mike: "I don't know him"

Me: "you know, best friends with Imri- Hans. Has great fashion... here I have a picture."

I show Mike the picture on my cell phone and of course the sweet bro has to stick his head in there.

Mike: "oh yeah, Hans. how long have they been dating?"

Sweet bro: "no competition. I'll take care of that guy."

At that point i just walk away with a complete look of disgust on my face. I quickly texted Hans after to tell him how bad I hated that guy. As I walked out to my car the sweet bro was getting into his vehicle. and what does he drive? A supped up huge pickup truck, of course.

I hated him so much.

Tim and Megan

other notable updates:

  • I'm currently reading Man's Search for Meaning (.by Viktor Frankl.)
  • I helped Cassie babysit tonight (!children!)
  • I took at 3 hour nap today (-sleep-)
  • I go to New York this coming weekend!!! (:yeah:)

Two truths and a lie

1. I've gone 5 days without showering while living in Seattle

2. I used a current roommates toothbrush more than once (and I never told her)

3. I peed my pants this past month

-now you tell me which one is the lie.

Cryonics

Cryonics is the low-temperature preservation of humans and other animals that can no longer be sustained by contemporary medicine until resuscitation may be possible in the future.

And they are for real about this. It blows my mind! You're dying so we'll just freeze you and they'll take care of it in the future. really?

It's the ultimate postponement to death? but they don't freeze you until you're dead. so....

Speaking from a existential stand point, death motivates us to live fuller lives. Did they not get that memo?

Walden Two

some else please read this book so we can talk about Utopian societies and they unethical sacrifices therein. It's a boring book with a minimal plot but there is so much to be said.

and maybe after we could talk about 1984 and I read any other book on complete government control in attempts form a utopia...maybe...?

These penguins usually come via mail and vary in size. One's as big as a toddler. Another as is a big as a 5 month old and the newest addition is as big as a new born.

Thanks Mom!

Here I am

I'm in Utah. It's hot, sunny, children everywhere, and fake blonds everywhere too. I've only been here two days and I've already gotten a significant amount of clarity. Sometimes in Provo I don't fit in or I don't want to fit in, and that's fine, it just means I've grown up a little. Sometimes I go out to lunch with ex-boyfriends who are really nice, and that's fine, it just means I haven't dated all jerks.

There's good people here.

It's tired in here.... I'm taking a nap.
