My left eye hurts

fate would have it...

In the same mere hour Patrick Swayze was taken from us, I was gifted the befriendment of Bob. A boy that (as far as I can tell) is Mr. Swayze's offspring, the resemblance is striking. everything from the fluffy hair to the swaying hips.

is this new found friendship a coincidence? I think not....

is this a picture of Patrick Swayze or Bob? we'll never know, cause I'll never say...

got bangs

so now I look like an adult...

wow that doesn't even look like me... but I'm pretty sure it is

I'm trying to think of the most boring things I can

oh great, nothing is boring to me right now... not even listening to my dad and brother talk about cranes. Not even reading journal articles (especially not reading other people's journals). Not even the movie pearl harbor (ugh... it's just irritating).

mmmm.....what about golf or Oprah or wait for your oil to get changed.

ok I'm yawning....

What else makes me tired? warm cars and long drives. Owen. My brother's old mission videos. warm classrooms with monotone teachers...

I think it's working...

still awake....

Zzzzzzz

I was hoping to go to bed before 3am.... that gives me 18 minutes to get tired and stop thinking.... and stop blogging... roar! can I do it? we'll see.....

gees-la-weeze

I've been having just the darnest time sleeping the last few nights...

I just keep thinking about food...

When you go to Japan

you walk through thousands of these until you get to the top of the mountain side to see the temple

you play Japanese pinball with Ikumi and Nathaniel

You see lots of temples and castles

you feed dear in Nara

you sleep on a mat on the floor with a rice pillow

you take your shoes off when you enter your hotel

you eat rice, noddles, deep fried meat, mellow pan

you take the subway/trains everywhere

you go to bed laughing at some random thing Nathaniel says

you see lots of short skirts

you go to cat hotels

and finally you get jet lag and have an 8 hour layover in San Fransisco airport

pretty much you have the time of your life

we're going to a party, it's a birthday party

it's your birthday party and we love you very very very very much.

and I loved seeing all those humans there. and being reunited with old friends. and thanks Megan for sharing your birthday party with me.

Trip of a life time

I'm going to Japan in a few days (on the 7th) and I have so many emotions about it. I'm nervous, I've seen taken, I don't personal know Liam Neeson so who would save me? Also nevrous for the public bathing areas... I prefer to keep my clothes on when other people are around.

I'm excited! I'm going far far from home. I'm going to that heart or Tokyo Drift! I'm excited to experience such a different culture. Will people be nice? Will people notice that I'm tall? What will I eat? oh I'm just so excited! I know I will have fun with Nathaniel- he's funny and I'm funny...

I have a touch of anxiety. what should I expect? Plus airport make me have anxiety as it is, and now I'm going international-eek!

Japan! get ready for belchincense and myrrh
