Forbidden love e.p.

I have a forbidden love. and no he's not gay (don't think anyways). and no he's not married. and no he's not in a relationship with facebook.

He is younger than me. He is in the service of The Lord. He is on a mission.

Back to Seattle

But first a recap on Utah-

Pretty much everything Heather said on her blog that was going to happen-happened. She's that good.

I saw my friend Phil. He is so adult like now, with an adult job and adult glasses and all. He is still the only other white guys that works there.

I love Utah. Yup, not afraid to say it- I LOVE UTAH! and the humans that dwell there.

Tim Glenn came to my family dinner.... it was weird (it's usually not, but there was a difference in political views.)

Kate is a good friend.

Some other note worthy events:

- Hans, Kate and I hiked ensign peak
- Planetarium

- Steph and I did lunges... a lot... with 1o lbs in each hand
- Saw Logan
- Went to the old ward and was looking so good (reminded some boys that I was the "one who got away")
- Saw Tandra
- Saw fish fish
- Saw Puckey! love puckey.

- Saw Ally Kat!
- Saw David effen Boyd
- Found out that I have really good swinging form

Brook-e-cookie

I now have a niece! Brooke Lamb. 7 pounds of cuteness. My sister was ten days overdue on her pregnancy. and from her account this is something you don't want to have happen to you (especially if you are a boy... why you pregnant anyways boy!).

YEAH for nieces!!! YEAH for now non-pregnant sister!! YEAH for cookies (regular edible types and Brook-e types)!!

Robot quesiton

robot question:

If you were a robot, and I knew but you didn't, would you want me to tell you?

this was my answer: Yes. and then I might laser you or assimilate you. Either way it would be Robot love at it's finest

This is how my morning went

My alarm went off at 9:08am (this is early for me). I got up and got ready for work. Changed my outfit twice to look more my age. Hurried and ate cereal. Power walked to work to get there on time. Clocked in. Lock up stuff up. Walk out to the floor and my manger asks "what are you doing here?" I say, "I work. at least I thought I work today from 10-6" she says "you do work today at 6pm." I felt embarrassed and walked home.

I have been humbled.

At least I have all day to do my homework.

  • putting off my homework until the last minute
  • telling my manger I thought Ben was cute
  • Still thinking "yeah, I'd date him again" even after he broke my heart
  • eating ice cream late at night 3 nights in a row
  • buying a Jacket Jackson CD

Missed connection now found

Man seeking Me

http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/mis/634381375.html

truth comes out- I'm strawberry lips

Things I've learned while living in seattle:

(in no particular order)
  1. I love (and miss) sunshine
  2. I look 19 years old
  3. I hate the parking here
  4. Unlike Provo, instead of checking for wedding ring to see if a boy is not married, here you must check how boys act/talk to see if they're not gay
  5. I love Trader Joe's
  6. if you just believe you can put ikea future together by yourself
  7. "You'll never be satisfied if you're looking for everyone else to fulfill your blog dreams,
they have to come from within" (Anderson, K. 2008)
  8. don't prank call your managers at work
  9. tooth paste does expire

Megan's Awesome Event

Seattle is dark and usually raining. Sometimes I feel my life here mirrors that. Last night, however, was such a refreshing break of the mundane routine.

I saw my friend Brett last night. This event happens, on average, 2 times a year. An event I wish could happen on a more regular basis. Great things always seem to occur when I am around Brett. Here is a list of some of last nights gems: two bar fights, laughter (hard laughter that makes you feel good all over), Jubees, seeing Jacob and Zach and remembering how nice they are, a reminder that I love live music, talk of Cassie designing shirt for Mae, Melissa getting hit on, Cassie drawing toasters for people, mace, a super late night full of new friends, etc. I love my friend Brett. I just want to put him in my pocket, share stories with him, go through my photo albums with him, go through his photo albums, go get a turkey sandwich with him, and pet kitties. Only good things for Brett, only good things.

Thank you Brett for making my life a little better.
